The short version
We do not use analytics cookies, and we do not set advertising cookies unless the Meta Pixel is switched on. This site saves two things in your browser's local storage so it works the way you expect, and you can clear them below.
What is stored
| Name | What it is for | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| ss_system_v1 | Your "My system" tray: the sections and versions you add and the changes you ask for, so they are still there on the next page and when you come back. | Local storage | Until you clear it |
| ss_attr | How you first arrived: the page, the site you came from and any advert tags in the link. It is only sent to us with a form. | Local storage | Until you clear it |
| _fbp, _fbc | Set by the Meta Pixel to link a visit to the Facebook or Instagram advert that brought you. Only present when the pixel is switched on. | Cookie (Meta) | Up to 90 days |
Local storage works like a cookie but stays in your browser: it is not sent to our server with every page.
Clear it now
This removes your "My system" tray and the note of how you arrived from this browser. It does not affect anything you have already sent us.
You can also clear site data, block cookies or browse privately in your browser's settings. The site still works, but your tray will not be remembered.
More about your data
Our privacy notice explains what we do with the details you send us, how long we keep them and your rights. Questions to enquiries@samsonwebdesign.co.uk.
