Find the jobs a system could do overnight
Tick the jobs your team repeats every week, then say how often and how long they take. You see the hours you would get back, and the board of what would run while you sleep.

We count 80% of each job’s time as saved. Someone still checks the odd one.
How we count the hours
Plain sums you can check. Change how often or how long, and the board and the hours change with it.
-
How often × how long
Each job’s minutes, times how many times a week it happens. Once a month counts as a quarter of a week.
-
Eighty per cent of it
A system does most of each job on its own. We leave a fifth for someone to check, so the hours are not overstated.
-
Over 46 weeks
The weekly hours times 46 working weeks, after holidays and bank holidays, then divided by a 37.5-hour week.
-
Done by the morning
Most of these run between 11pm and 6am, so your team starts the day with them finished, not waiting.
One booking, nobody touching it
Automations in a system you own are not a bolt-on. They use the same records your team works from, so every step knows the customer, the job and the money.
- Confirmed and booked in. The customer gets the confirmation, and the job lands on the right person’s round.
- Reminded and done. A reminder the day before, then photos and a signature on the day.
- Invoiced and reviewed. Paid by card, synced to the accounts, then a review request.
